A short movie that I wrote, directed, and edited in collaboration with creatives from across the Middle East and North Africa region. It is a true story about the complicated path youth take to build a parallel, hidden culture within the wall of a place with much less opportunity: the “Third World”.

The Same Moon Above Us: A Tunisian Tale is an image book for which I was cast as both Art Director and a featured artist. It features in total 8 Tunisian artists whose works pay homage to their homeland. This publication was supported by Arts Council England and edited by Estelle Marois.

Illustration, Product Design
As a testament to the Palestinian people’s tenacity in face of settler colonialism and violence, I designed the “We Won’t Stop” t-shirt featuring an illustration of Hashem al-Jarousheh to sell for charity in Ya Habibi Market’s renowned store. The tee was featured in GQ Middle East and sold at Ya Habibi Market’s pop-up at the 2021 ComplexCON in Long Beach, California.

Third World Scent ↸
Original product conception, design, packaging, and promotional campaign for Fichier Caché and Indinya. My inspirations for this packaging design were the bright colors and arabesque-like decoration often used in 1980s-1990s food packaging from the MENA region.
